Garden City 27, Mepham 6: Brett Stewart accounted for 318 of the Trojans' 379 total yards and had two TDs to lead Garden City (3-0) in Nassau II. Stewart threw for 194 yards and a TD and ran for 124 yards with a TD. With 4:06 left in the third, Stewart hit Matt Borges on third-and-15 on a fly pattern that went 50 yards for a score and put Garden City ahead 20-0. Borges had four catches for 98 yards. Gerard Smith hit field goals of 33 yards and 30 yards and was 3-for-3 on extra points. Mepham is 1-2.
