Garden City 41, Sewanhaka 31: Tim Schmelzinger went 10-for-17 for 118 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 73 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries to lead Garden City (3-0) in Nassau II. Brian Haeffner had 134 yards rushing and a touchdown on 16 carries. Jamie Atkinson caught three passes for 38 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 28 yards. Sewanhaka's Alexander Cherry returned a fumble 30-yards for a touchdown with 4:20 remaining to pull Sewanhaka within 2 scores but Garden City was able to run out the remaining time on its final drive.
