Lawrence 40, Sewanhaka 27: Jordan Fredericks recorded 146 receiving yards and four touchdowns on eight catches, including a 55-yard touchdown reception from Joe Capobianco midway through the second quarter to break a 20-20 tie and put Lawrence (3-0) up for good against Sewanhaka (1-2) in Nassau III. Fredericks' 20-yard TD pass with about one minute remaining in the half put Lawrence in front 27-14. Capobianco completed 11 of 17 passes for 275 yards and four touchdowns. Simon Jones ran for a 15-yard TD run in the third for a 34-21 lead and finished with 127 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. Elijah Jones had seven tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery. Sewanhaka's Jake Mellen connected with Elijah Smith for two touchdown passes, including a 60-yard TD reception in the second that, following the ensuing two-point conversion pass from Mellen to Audrigue Jean-Louise, tied the score at 20.
