Locust Valley 28, Valley Stream South: All the scoring came before halftime for Locust Valley (2-0) in a win against Valley Stream South in Nassau IV. Quarterback Tyler Liantonio completed a 68-yard pass for a touchdown, and also had a rushing touchdown. John Pedranghelu rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown. Dean Palermo led the team with eight tackles. Lineman Spencer Matthaei helped create openings for Locust Valley's run-heavy offense. Locust Valley didn't punt until late in the fourth quarter.
