Elmont 34, Sewanhaka 6: Aston Brown Jr. had 152 yards of total offense, two touchdowns, and a fumble recovery to lead Elmont (2-0) in Nassau II. Brown Jr. rushed for 78 yards on eight carries, and caught five passes for 74 yards. Aaron Ruthman was 13-for-21 passing for 165 yards and two touchdowns. Matthew Penalvert returned a punt 50 yards for a touchdown to give Elmont an 18-0 lead going into halftime. Sewanhaka's Shaheim Taylor-White scored on a 55-yard run on the first play of the second half, before Elmont answered with a 35 yard touchdown pass from Ruthman to Brown later in the third quarter.
