North Shore 45, South Side 26: Frank Castiglione scored three touchdowns including an 85-yard kickoff return to start the game and back-to-back receptions to help North Shore (1-1) pull away at the end of the second quarter against South Side in Nassau III. South Side got within eight at 28-20 before North Shore quarterback Ryan Aughavin connected with Castiglione for a 73-yard touchdown pass with 4:06 left before halftime. They followed that up on the next drive with a 65-yard touchdown pass with 1:58 left to make the score 42-20. Aughavin passed for 229 yards and three touchdowns.
