Hicksville 20, Port Washington 7; Sam Hincapie rushed for 110 yards on 15 carries and had two touchdowns, including a 53-yard run on the first offensive play of the game. Hicksville had a 15-play 89-yard drive that took up 12 minutes and 5 seconds, capping with a 5-yard run by Powers five seconds into the fourth quarter. Hicksville coach Richard Carroll said there were about 10 three and outs during the drive. "He ran the ball like a wildman today," Carroll said of Hincapie. "He was our workhorse on offense. Our offensive lineman paved the way, but Sam had nice cuts on every rush he had and he did a good job of covering the ball up." Carroll highlighted a third-and-9 where Matt Markowski caught a 25-yard one-handed catch over the middle. Added Carroll: "If we didn't get that, I think they might have scored on us. That was the turning point of that drive." Brian Bell had 14 tackles.
