HIGHLIGHTS
Floral Park 14, Hewlett 12; Josh Corbett ran the ball for 76 yards on 10 carries and had a touchdown to help Floral Park to its Nassau III win. Corbett also went 1-for-6 for 52 yards. Tyler Lohen had the first score of the game with a 35-yard fumble recovery and came up big defensively with six tackles. Floral Park led 14-6 at the half after Michael Incantalupo made the tackle to stop a 2-point conversion attempt with 28 seconds until halftime. Incantalupo, in his first varsity game, also broke up the 2-point conversion attempt in the third quarter. Hewlett missed a 37-yard field goal with 55 seconds left in the game, cementing the 14-12 final. Lohen and Cole Horan had six tackles each in a strong game by both the offensive and defensive lines. "They did a great job," Floral Park coach Mike Spina said. "They followed their option responsibilities all game. They did their job and didn't try to do too much."
