HIGHLIGHTS
East Hampton/Bridgehampton 14, Wyandanch 12: Brandan Johnson scored on a 30-yard touchdown rush midway through the second quarter to put East Hampton/Bridgehampton up 14-6 and his cousin Jordan scored on the ensuing two-point conversion to lead East Hampton/Bridgehampton in Suffolk IV. It was East Hampton/Bridgehampton's first varsity football game since 2013 after the school only fielding a junior varsity game in 2014. The team's last varsity win was a 33-12 victory at Wyandanch on October 26, 2013. Brendan Johnson took a handoff to the outside to go up 12-6 in the second quarter before East Hampton/Bridgehampton faked the same play on the two-point conversion, and Jordan Johnson scored on a naked bootleg to go up 14-6. Wyandanch was stopped on fourth-and-7 on the East Hampton/Bridgehampton 35 yardline with 30 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Axel Alanis had 10 tackles, and Brandan Johnson had 12 rushes for 90 yards and two catches for 90 yards for East Hampton/Bridgehampton.
