Locust Valley 28, West Hempstead 7: John Pedranghelu scored on a 5-yard with 4:25 left in the third quarter to put Locust Valley up 21-7 en route to its win in Nassau IV. Pedranghelu ran for 121 yards on 20 carries and also threw a 33-yard touchdown pass to Owen Trepeta (3 receptions, 53 yards) on his only attempt. Tom Talenti had 16 carries for 84 yards and two touchdowns and led the team with five tackles. Locust Valley forced and recovered three fumbles, including Paul Pedranghelu recovering one on the opening kickoff. Pedranghelu also had a sack.
