Carey 35, Long Beach 14: Michael Catanese was 8-for-13 for 91 yards and a touchdown and ran for 111 yards and another touchdown to lead No. 1 Carey (10-0) over No. 6 Long Beach (5-5) in a Nassau II semifinal. Conor Colasurdo ran for 75 yards and two touchdowns on five carries and Mike De Leo had 77 yards on nine carries. Anthony Lucito had 16 tackles, a sack and forced a fumble. Carey will play No. 2 Garden City in the finals at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Hofstra.
