Syosset 36, East Meadow 30: Michael Elardo caught a 27-yard touchdown pass from William Hogan with 11 seconds left to give No. 6 Syosset (6-4) the victory over No. 4 East Meadow in a Nassau I semifinal at Hofstra. Hogan completed 17 of 27 passes for 273 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 150 yards and two scores. Elardo made seven receptions for 164 yards and two touchdowns. Johnny Wilson led East Meadow with 126 yards rushing, two touchdowns and three 2-point conversion runs. The Jets finished 8-2.
