Babylon 27, Center Moriches 6: Jerry Brown had 12 carries for 120 yards and two touchdowns and Stephen Schweitzer added 92 yards rushing on 15 carries and two scores for fourth-seeded Babylon (6-3) in its Suffolk Division IV quarterfinal win over No. 5 Center Moriches (4-5). The Panthers are coming off back-to-back victories over the Red Devils. Babylon clinched its 20th consecutive Big 4 Championship after closing out the regular season with a victory last week. Brown's 79-yard touchdown run and his 5-yard touchdown reception from Ron Woodhull gave the Panthers a 13-0 halftime lead. Schweitzer's 2-yard rushing score and 3-yard rushing score capped the Panthers' scoring. Zach Brady's 78-yard touchdown reception from Tyrell Thomas was the lone score for the Red Devils, which came with 2:11 remaining. The Panthers' defense held Center Moriches to 25 yards rushing, led by K'Sean Reid and Joe Cosby, who each had seven tackles.
