Miller Place 2, Rocky Point 1: With four seconds remaining in double overtime, Jillian Fazio scored the game-winning goal off a deflection from Julia Burns to help No. 1 Miller Place defeat No. 2 Rocky Point 2-1 and capture the Suffolk B title for a second consecutive season. Miller Place (16-1) broke a scoreless tie with 17:16 remaining in the second half, as Arianna Esposito scored on an assist from her sister Crystal to give the Panthers a 1-0 lead. Then, just five minutes later Rocky Point answered back with a goal from Sara Giamarrella to tie the game at 1. Miller Place will face the winner of Wednesday’s Nassau Class B final, between No. 1 seeded Garden City and No. 3 seeded Manhasset next Saturday 3 p.m. at Adelphi for the Long Island Class B Championship.
