Bethpage 25, Friends Academy 36: In the 5,000 meter run, Carolina Cagna placed third overall in 20 minutes, 24.4 seconds to lead Bethpage (5-0) to a first-place finish in a Nassau III quad meet. She was followed in order by Ariana Joe (20:54.9) in fourth, Emma Sheahan (21:07.3) in fifth, Grace Miller (21:07.4) in sixth, Brianna Leahy (21:42.6) in seventh, Gabrielle Severin (22:38.1) in eighth and Juliette Sparke (22:40.6) in ninth. For Friends Academy (3-2), Ariana Madeira won the individual race in 19:48.6 while Charlotte Yanke took second in 20:16.1 and Maia Madeira rounded out the top 10 in 23:17.7.
