North Shore 21, Plainedge DNP: In the 5,000 meter run, Jack Penney placed second overall in 18 minutes, 12.9 seconds to help lead North Shore (2-0) to a first-place finish in a Nassau IV tri-meet. Kai Oakley finished third in 18:29.2, followed directly by Daniel Schoudel in fourth at 18:55 and John Ricci in fifth at 18:57.1. Rohan Chopra (19:44.4) sealed the win by coming in seventh place. Plainedge (0-2) did not field a varsity team and forfeited.
