Commack 55, Copiague 53: Amanda McMahon had 20 points and seven steals, and made the go-ahead layup following a steal and assist by Katie Kelly with 12 seconds remaining to lead No. 11 Commack (12-8) over No. 6 Copiague in the first round of the Suffolk AA playoffs. Kelly added 13 points, six assists and seven steals. Tayanee Peay scored 30 points for Copiague and tied the score at 53 with 51. Commack will face the winner of Ward Melville/Newfield on Friday.
