Longwood 85, Patchogue-Medford 32: Nyia Longford scored her 1,000th career point in the victory, sinking a 3-pointer with three and a half minutes left in the second quarter. Longford, who needed 15 points to reach the mark, finished with 19, sparking Longwood (16-0) in Suffolk I. "She's the model of consistency," Longwood coach James Castiglione said. "She's a double-double machine and the rock of our program." Janelle Brown added 13 points and 12 assists in the victory, while Angelene Bailey chipped in eight points and 11 rebounds.
