Herricks 41, New Hyde Park 25: Senior Barbara Nictas scored 20 points to lead Herricks in the final of the Herricks Tournament. Nictas scored 17 points during the first half and was named tournament MVP. Coach Tom Kinsella called Nictas the "heart and soul of the team," praising the player who he said "works as hard as any kid in the county." Junior Erin Rivera added 12 points and nine rebounds for Herricks. Junior Laila Chadli led New Hyde Park with nine points and nine rebounds.
