North Shore 73, Island Trees 56: Gabrielle Zaffiro led all scorers with 31 points in No. 3 North Shore's Nassau Class A quarterfinal win over No. 6 Island Trees. With 2,596 points, Zaffiro passed Sachem's Nicole Kaczmarski for second All-Time on the Long Island scoring list, North Shore coach Keith Freund said. Selena Fortich added 13 points and 11 rebounds in the win. North Shore (19-1) will face No. 7 Wantagh 5pm Saturday in the semi-finals. It is North Shore's seventh consecutive trip to the semifinals, Freund said,
