Half Hollow Hills West 72, Comsewogue 70: Samantha Hinke hit a jump shot with under a minute left to break a tie at 70 and lead Half Hollow Hills West (6-6) in Suffolk IV. Hinke scored 31 points for Hills West, which clinched a playoff berth with the win, coach Bryan Dugan said. Nora Gabel scored 34 points for Comsewogue and broke school's all-time scoring record, according to Comsewogue coach Joe Caltagirone. Gabel has 1,619 points, passing Nicolle Rubino, who graduated in 2002 with 1,613 points.
