North Babylon 50, Half Hollow Hills East 48: Raiana Brown scored 21 points and reflected an inbound pass with seconds ticking away in regulation to secure the win for North Babylon in Suffolk III opener. North Babylon was up 14 points going into the fourth quarter. After North Babylon made the score 43-27, Hills East went on an 18-point run to take the lead with four minutes left in the fourth to make the score 45-43. Ashanti Chandler scored on a putback layup to tie the score then scored on a breakaway layup to put the Bulldogs back in the lead, 47-45. Bulldogs maintained the lead for the rest of the game. Chandler scored 11 points. Alanna Felix and Destiny Schook each had nine rebounds.
