HIGHLIGHTS
Copiague 52, Smithtown West 49: Faith McCombs' old-fashioned three-point play gave Copiague a three-point lead with three minutes and the Bulls never got closer than three points the rest of the game. Keyanah Jackson (9) and Anna Zaborowska combined for 15 of the Eagles' 25 points in the fourth quarter. Zaborowska had 16 points and Jackson added 13. Copiague (4-1) was down 34-27 after three quarters, but used a 25-15 fourth quarter for the win. Eighth grader Christina Sanchez had six of Copiague's 15 steals thanks to a press defense.
