HIGHLIGHTS
Baldwin 80, East Meadow 37: Aziah Hudson scored 13 points, including her 1,000th as a high school player, to lead Baldwin (1-0) in Nassau AA-II. The junior hit the mark on a three-pointer in the first quarter. "She's been a pleasure to coach," coach Tom Catapano said. "She's a tremendous worker, she takes no plays off," he added. Catapano said Hudson was the second player in program history to score 1,000 points. The first was Karen Leary, who scored her 1,000th point in 1989.
