HIGHLIGHTS
North Shore 64, Glen Cove 55: Sophomore Gabrielle Zaffiro had 36 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and 10 steals to lead North Shore (2-0) in Nassau A-III. Zaffiro set the North Shore girls single-game scoring record, breaking the mark she set as an eighth-grader, according to coach Keith Freund. Grace Brady had 24 points, 21 rebounds and 20 blocks for Glen Cove. Ashleigh Sheerin had 10 points, 13 rebounds and five steals for North Shore.
