Glen Cove 49, Lynbrook 48: Taylah Hudson made the back end of two free throws to give No. 7 Glen Cove (12-6) a 49-48 lead with six seconds remaining during its Nassau Class A first round win over No. 10 Lynbrook. Hudson, who had 25 points, four assists and seven steals, scored 10 of the Big Red's 11 fourth quarter points. Grace Brady added five points and 11 rebounds. Ciara Gordon led the Owls with 17 points. Glen Cove advances to the quarterfinals and will take on the winner of No. 2 Garden City/No. 15 Locust Valley on Tuesday.
