North Shore 86, Sachem East 65: Eighth-grader Gabrielle Zaffiro broke a school record when she was the first player to score 33 points to lead North Shore (8-2) in non-league, head coach Keith Freund said. Zaffiro also added seven assists, seven rebounds and six steals. Caroline Robertson recorded 26 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and five steals. Alexandra Cantwell had 12 points, nine rebounds, seven steals and six assists. Ashleigh Sheerin scored 13 points and added nine rebounds. Sachem East's Kathleen Everson scored a career-high 29 points.
