HIGHLIGHTS
Freeport 47, Our Lady of Mercy 39: Taylor Miller finished with a game-high 15 points and seven steals to lead Freeport (4-1) in its opening round win of the Lady Devils Basketball Invitational. AJ Smith added 13 points. Deja Hooks had a game-high seven rebounds and five blocks. Desiree Gaeckler led Our Lady of Mercy (4-3) with eight points. The Lady Devils advance to take on Division at 1 p.m. Friday. The Lady Mustangs will play Calhoun at 1 p.m. Friday. All tournament games take place at Freeport High School.
