East Islip 40, Westhampton 28: Jessica Peluso had 10 points, 12 rebounds and seven blocks, including a driving layup with 3:30 remaining in the fourth quarter as East Islip closed the contest on a 9-1 run in Suffolk V. Sara Simonetti added 14 points and four steals, Mimi Pasha added 10 points and seven steals and Meg Garnett had five points and 10 rebounds in the win. Payton Dattero and Kaelyn Gordon made solid contributions as well, coach Michael Petre said.
