The Sharks (10-11) outscored Bayport-Blue Point 7-2 in OT. ESM led 35-34 with 40 seconds left in regulation before Maddigan Miller hit a 3-pointer to put the Phantoms up two. Olivia Monturo followed up by going 1-of-2 from the line, giving Bayport-Blue Point a a 38-36 lead. After ESM's Bella Arato also went 1-of-2 at the line, making it 38-36 with six seconds left, the Phantoms turned the ball over, leading to McCormick's eventual bucket. McCormick finished with 13 points, while Carly Travers had 16 rebounds and nine points. ESM advances to Thursday's quarterfinal at 5 p.m at No. 2 West Babylon.
