HIGHLIGHTS
Portledge 66, Martin De Porres 56: Terence Simpson had 21 points, 14 rebounds, seven steals and six assists to lead No. 3 Portledge (14-7) over No. 1 Martin De Porres in the IPPSAL final. Portledge earned its second straight league championship. David Lustberg added 19 points, five rebounds and five assists for the Panthers, who took control with a 21-8 third quarter. "It was two different teams between last year and this, we only returned two starters, but this group worked hard to improve and we were fortunate to peak at the right time," coach Nick Woll said. Portledge will compete in the NYSAIS tournament on Feb. 28.
