Manhasset 51, Port Washington 49: Jack Cargiulo had 10 points, including the game-winning layup with 11 seconds remaining in overtime, to lead Manhasset (1-0) in the first round of the Mueller-Sims Tournament. John Mastando scored 16 points, and Chris Themelis added 11. Port Washington's Conor Shanahan, who had 15 points, converted a pair of free throws with two seconds left in regulation to tie the score at 47 and force overtime. Manhasset will host Bethpage in the final on Dec. 16.
