Smithtown West 50, Deer Park 47: Greg Giordano hit a jumpshot with 5:20 remaining in the fourth quarter to finally give No. 4 Smithtown West the lead. Giordano scored eight of his 22 points in the fourth to maintain the lead and earn the win for Smithtown West (21-1) in the Suffolk AA quarterfinals over No. 5 Deer Park. Chris Crespo had 11 points and seven assists. Smithtown West will play No. 1 Bay Shore for the semifinals match at Stony Brook on Feb. 25 at 2pm.
