HIGHLIGHTS
Patchogue-Medford 47, Sachem East 44: Senior guard Anthony Ahyoung hit a three-pointer from the right-hand corner at the buzzer for the Suffolk I win for Patchogue-Medford (3-7). Ahyoung had 12 points, four steals and three assists for the Raiders, who never trailed by more than one point. After Sachem East missed the front end of a one-and-one free throw, Patchogue-Medford decided to get the best shot possible and did not call a timeout. Ahyoung took the shot with two second left. Patchogue-Medford led 30-17 at the half, but Sachem East used a 15-6 third quarter and trailed 36-32 heading into the fourth quarter. Jon Hart led Sachem East with 13 points. Bradley Malm had 12 points and Nathaniel Ormond added 10 points and nine rebounds in the win.
