Kellenberg 52, Smithtown West 49: Kyle DeVerna scored 18 points, adding seven assists and eight rebounds to lead Kellenberg (10-1) in the Tip of the Hat Classic at Adelphi University. Kellenberg coach Jack McCutcheon said DeVerna, who hit two free throws with 30 seconds left to seal the win, was named MVP of the game. Ryan Wilkens scored 13 points and Steven Torre scored nine, adding seven assists and seven rebounds.
