MacArthur 58, Port Washington 56: Ryan Cunningham made two free throws with 2.3 seconds left to lift host No. 8 MacArthur over No. 9 Port Washington, 58-56, in overtime in a Class AA first round playoff game. It's MacArthur's first playoff win since 2005, coach Eric Rubin said. “I felt confident at the line,” said Cunningham, who scored 16 points. "After hitting the first one, I knew I was going to hit the second one.” The Generals (11-7) will visit top-seeded Baldwin at 7 p.m. Thursday. Zach Jimenez (20 points) hit two free throws with 16.9 seconds to tie it at 54 for Port Washington and force overtime. Brian Perez led the Generals with 17 points. Noah Linder scored a game-high 22 points for the Vikings (7-11). “The first playoff win in a while feels great,” Cunningham said. “It was crazy after the game. It was an absolutely incredible feeling.”
