Jarell Cowell became the Wolverines' all-time leading scorer in boys basketball, Newfield coach Anthony Agostino said, after finishing with 27 points. Cowell, who also had 14 rebounds, now has 1,028 points, breaking the previous school record of 1,027 points, held by Keith Bogad in 1997. Jon Faraci led Half Hollow Hills West with 19 points.
