Half Hollow Hills East 60, Central Islip 52 (OT): Mike Simon scored 19 points and Justin Fackler had 16 points and 13 rebounds to lead Half Hollow Hill East (19-1) in the Suffolk Class AA playoffs. Matt Boyd, who finished with 13 points and 10 assists, hit a pull-up jump shot to tie the game for Hills East at the end of regulation. Boyd went 8-for-8 from the free throw line in overtime. Jordan McRae added 12 points and 13 rebounds for Hills East, which will face Deer Park on Friday at Farmingdale at 5:30.
