Carey 64, Lawrence 63 (OT): Adrian Denner scored 18 points and had 11 rebounds, and Kieran Murchie scored 16 points to lead No. 9 Carey (13-6) in the Nassau Class A quarterfinals. Dylan DeMeo hit two free throws with 8.1 seconds left in overtime to give Carey a 64-63 lead. DeMeo added 15 points and six assists and Tommy Gallant had eight points and 12 rebounds for Carey, which will face No. 4 Valley Stream on Monday at Old Westbury at 7:00 PM.
