Amityville 60, Half Hollow Hills West 55: Sherwin Johnson hit two free throws with 6.1 seconds left to lead No. 7 Amityville over No. 10 Hills West in the first round of the Suffolk AA playoffs. Johnson finished with 12 points and eight rebounds. Amityville went on a 14-6 run to start the fourth quarter, which was met by a 12-2 run by Hills West to bring the score to 55-53 with less than a minute left. Amityville's Anias Duncan then converted a three-point play to take the lead. Duncan finished with eight points, five rebounds and three assists. Seville Williams had 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Amir Dickerson added 12 points, six rebounds and five assists. Vince Corso had 20 points for Hills West (9-12). Amityville (13-8) will travel to No. 2 Half Hollow Hills East (16-4) Saturday, Feb. 24, at 2 p.m.
