Valley Stream South 68, Glen Cove 51: Sophomore Dana King scored 30 for 924 points in his three-year varsity career, breaking a VSS record set in 1965 by Rich Lobell, according to coach Matt Johnsen. King added five assists and eight rebounds for Valley Stream (7-1) in Conference A-III. "He's been the point guard for three years, and he's just a great natural scorer," Johnsen said.
