Deer Park 53, Bayport-Blue Point 52: Javion Martin's steal with two seconds to play snuffed Bayport-Blue Point's big rally and preserved the non-conference win for the Falcons. Deer Park (8-5) led 53-35 with approximately five minutes to play when the Phantoms (9-4) reeled off 17 unanswered points to close the margin to one. BBP fouled with 8.2 seconds to play and got the rebound on the missed front end of a one-and-one before Martin stole the ball and ran out the clock. Nate Gordon finished with 16 points, Martin with 12 points and Billy Murphy had eight points, eight assists, six rebounds and four steals for Deer Park. Ron Maurer scored 18 for BBP.
