Smithtown West 75, Whitman 63: Matt Behrens hit 19 free-throws and scored 21 points in Smithtown West's first round victory over Whitman in the Islip tournament. His twin brother Michael and Sam Frank each added 17 points. It was seventh-year coach Michael Agostino's 100th win, he said. Smithtown West (1-0) will face the winner of Islip/Patchogue-Medford 1 p.m. Saturday in the finals.
