Long Beach 72, Garden City 68: Alex Bauer made two of his eight free throws with 3.5 seconds left to give Long Beach a 72-68 lead in its Nassau A-I win. The Marines (12-0) clinched the conference title late Monday night, according to coach Cedric Ward. Bauer finished with 20 points and six assists. Jacob Cochran had 21 points and 12 rebounds, Jaden Barwicki added 16 points and Evan Michaels had 10 points and 16 rebounds. Luke Long had 26 points for Garden City.
