Brentwood 77, Ward Melville 65: Junior Jordan Riley scored his 1000th point on a layup with four-and-a-half minutes left in the fourth quarter to extend the lead to eight, 60-52, for Brentwood (10-0) in Suffolk I. Riley had 25 of his 35 points (including 17 free throws) in the second half and finished with eight rebounds, Alan Houston finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds and Kenny Lazo had 14 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Indians. Riley is now the 10th 1000-point scorer in the the Indians' history according to assistant coach David Berger. Jack Holland scored 20 points and Myles Brown had 14 points for Ward Melville.
