MacArthur 14, Glen Cove 2: Jess Mauro struck out six in a five inning complete game to lead No. 1 MacArthur over No. 17 Glen Cove in the first round of the Nassau Class A playoffs. Mauro and Hailey Feiler had back-to-back two-out two-run singles to give MacArthur a 5-2 lead in the bottom of the second inning. Feiler, Chiara Nappo and Colette O'Brien each had two hits. Nappo scored three runs and had two RBIs. MacArthur will host No.8 Bellmore JFK in the quarterfinals on Thursday at 4:45.
