Longwood 13, Riverhead 4: Danielle Wenzek, a ninth-grader, went 4-for-5 with two homers, a double and seven RBIs to lead No. 8 Longwood (13-5) over No. 9 Riverhead in the first round of the Suffolk Class AA double-elimination playoffs. Wenzek hit a grand slam in the second-inning to give Longwood a 5-0 lead. Longwood hosts No. 16 Bellport at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
