HIGHLIGHTS
Longwood 11, West Islip 2: Emily Koerick went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a three-run home run in the bottom of the second inning to lead No. 2 Longwood (19-2) over No. 6 West Islip in the Suffolk AA Winner's bracket semifinals. Kayleigh Olsen went 2-for-3 with a solo home run for Longwood in the bottom of the sixth inning. Natalie Intrieri went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and one RBI for Longwood. Koerick earned the win, pitching seven innings, allowing two unearned on three hits, striking out eight and walking two. Longwood faces No. 1 Commack in the Suffolk AA semifinals on Saturday, May 26 at Commack High School.
