HIGHLIGHTS
North Babylon 3, West Babylon 2: Patty McGloin's walk-off single with two outs in the bottom of the seventh drove in Destiny Schook, who walked two batters prior, to lead No. 3 North Babylon past No. 9 West Babylon in Suffolk Class AA loser's bracket game. Ava Shorr pitched a complete game, allowed one earned run, seven hits, no walks and struck out four to earn the win. Shorr drew a walk after the Schook at-bat to keep North Babylon alive in the seventh. Marissa Krohberger went 2-for-3 and Catherine Zucker went 3-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in the win. North Babylon (19-3) will host No. 6 West Islip Friday at 4 p.m. in an elimination game.
