West Islip 3, North Babylon 2: Brianna Adams had an RBI single to score Allison Weston in the top of the eighth inning to lead No. 6 West Islip (15-5) over No. 3 North Babylon in the second round of the Suffolk AA playoffs. Alex Michaluk hit an RBI single in the top of the first inning. Erin Schweers drove in Adams with a groundout to first base in the top of the fourth inning. Jamison Lundie earned the win, pitching eight innings, allowing two unearned runs on one hit, striking out six and walking two. West Islip plays No. 2 Longwood in the quarterfinals at Longwood High School on Thursday, May 24 at 4:30 p.m.
